GETTING TO KNOW US
We realize that you probably have questions about us. If you have never been to our office we would like to provide you with some information that you may find helpful and some answers to frequently asked questions.
- We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed about asking any and all questions that you may have. NO question is too small for you to ask whether it is regarding your treatment, insurance, or bill. Please feel free to come by or call us at any time when you have a question.
-
Our hours are convenient for most all schedules. When calling the office to schedule your appointment, please have dental insurance information available.
-
We strongly request that you remember that the time reserved for your appointment is important. Only for major reasons should changes or cancellation of the appointment be considered. We ask that you contact us at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment, if possible.
-
At your appointment, we will need any x-rays and pertinent information from your general dentist. If you can, request any x-ray pictures and other information to be sent from your dentist. Medical conditions, medications, and history of medical needs will be reviewed thoroughly. We will also need your medical doctor's name and address for files.
-
Patients with dental insurance should realize that professional services are rendered to a person and not to an insurance company. Thus, the insurance company is responsible to the patient and the patient is responsible to the doctor. We cannot render services on the assumption that the charges will be paid for by an insurance company. However, we will help in every way that we can in filing a claim, handling insurance queries, processing follow-ups, lost claims etc., from our office on your behalf. Please bring your insurance forms filled out to the consultation visit.
-
Concerning financial arrangements, we ask that your consultation visit be paid for at the time of your appointment unless other arrangements have been made.
We have a lending library on all sorts of health related matters. We utilize the latest techniques for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Our microscope system has proven to be interesting and helpful to a number of our patients.
For your comfort we are equipped for various types of sedation such as laughing gas, stereo music head-sets, and tranquilizing medications.
Our office philosophy is to provide the most up-to-date quality care. We strive to be conservative in minimizing complex and expensive treatments if there are other ways to achieve your optimum oral health. We work with your general dentist's office to help you achieve optimum oral health. We look forward to meeting you.
Yours very truly,
M. Jeffrey Morton, D.M.D., P.A.
