D I S C O M F O R T / S W E L L I N G Aleve:   Take 2 tablets 1 hour prior to your procedure with food (protein).   Take 2 tablets within the hour after your procedure with 2 large glasses of water.   Take 1 pill 3 times a day for 2 days to prevent any swelling or discomfort.   *After the 2 days, take as needed for discomfort Anaprox:   Take 1 tablet 2 hours prior to procedure with food (protein).   Take 1 tablet within the hour after your procedure with 2 large glasses of water.   Take 1 pill 3 times a day for 2 days to prevent any swelling or discomfort.   *After the 2 days, take as needed.   A N T I B I O T I C S Penicillin / Amoxicillin / Augmentin   Take 2 tablets first dose             In office             At home Then take 1 tablet every six hours (four times a day) until all are gone.   Erythromycin / Metronidazole (Flagyl):   Take 1 tablet to start with a full glass of water             In office             At home Then take 1 tablet every eight hours (three times per day) until all are gone.   P E R I D E X / P E R I O  G A R D Oral rinse to be used twice a day at half strength to avoid staining of teeth. Gently keep in mouth for 1-2 minutes. Use until you return for follow up care. Swab with Q-tip or 308 end-tufted brush twice a day. Use until you return for follow up care.
